Whatever your level; choosing to take private one-on-one French lessons in Quebec is the best way to intensify your learning experience. Learning in Quebec gives you the opportunity to practice your new found linguistic skills both inside and outside of the classroom.

A private course offers more flexibility than the group courses as it is designed to adapt to your specific needs and allows you to develop your language skills at the right pace for you. With your own dedicated tutor, you will be speaking French from day 1 and you can tailor your classes to focus on the four main language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Alternatively, you can choose to specialise in a specific area of French such as conversation, business, tourism, buying a home, living abroad and so on.

You will be taught by highly qualified native French speakers who have a passion for teaching and use proven teaching techniques that are tailored to your own needs.

Start Days
- French courses start on selected Mondays throughout the year
- If you book the optional accommodation with this learning holiday, you’ll check-in on Sunday before the course starts


How Will I Learn French?
- French courses are focused on having fun and classes are highly interactive
- You will focus on the four main French language skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening
- There will be individual and group work such as role plays and conversation practice
- You’ll also work on developing your grammar in practical contexts
- You will learn with a wide range of teaching aids; language text books, French press, audio/video, French songs or games and each week your linguistic skills are assessed to ensure you are always in the right group for your level
- Please note all French lessons will be held in the native language of French; a proven teaching technique that will fully immerse you in the language and accelerate your learning experience


French Course Schedule
- Classes run either Monday through to Friday or Monday to Saturday each week
- Class starts at 8am on your first day
- The start time of additional classes is flexible to fit around your schedule
- You will have 4 private classes per day lasting 55 minutes each
- You will have a short break between each class


French Language Level Test
- Please arrive at the school by 7.30am on your first day for a short level test
- This test will assess your understanding of the language and will help your tutor design a course to suit your learning needs


Free Time In Quebec
Many people on these holiday courses travel solo as they make perfect singles holidays so the language school organises a host of social and cultural activities each week to help you to get to know your fellow classmates and to integrate you into the French way of life, some activities are free and others have a small charge and may include:
- The school offers a host of optional cultural activities throughout the week
- Lessons are designed to fit around you, so the amount of free time is up to you
- You will have plenty of free time to explore the local area and practice your new found language skills or just kick back and relax in this beautiful city on this learning holiday with a difference

- This school offers transfers to and from the airport for an additional charge; you can book transfers during the booking process


Optional Accommodation
- This language school offers optional accommodation staying with a local French family to immerse yourself in the French culture and practice your French

Compulsory Extras
- Please note that French Grammar and Exercise books are not included in the price and need to be purchased on your first day (approximate cost $35 Canadian)
