Kirsty’s slang French – Learn French in France

EurosAs in all languages money can be expressed in a million ways, the French have a fantastic collection of slang words to describe money, here are a couple to try out next time someone asks you to by them a drink:

–  Moi, j’ai pas un tune!  (I don’t have a penny!)
– être blindé  to be filthy rich ‘ Il est blindé de fric’:
– Fric – money
– Pognon – money
– Oseille – money
– Tune – money

So if you are a little short on money then we have some excellent value French courses in Lyon and you won’t have to break the bank to learn French in the rest of France either.
