In Britain we love to talk (complain) about the weather, and Spanish speakers also have a few sayings of their own:
-Aguacero a las tres, buena tarde es – A downpour at 3 makes for a good afternoon.
-Cuando el sapo canta fuerte, agua promote – When the toad sings aloud, rain’s on its way
-En diciembre, no hay valiente que no tiemble – In December, even the bravest shiver
-Está lloviendo a cántaros – It’s bucketing down
-Están lloviendo hasta maridos –It’s raining cats and dogs (lit:-it’s even raining husbands!)
