Yoga holidays in Rome, Italy – introducing our yoga instructor Louise Lykke

Our fantastic yoga holiday in the pretty pedestrianized village of Casperia near Rome is the perfect place to relax and unwind. This retreat has a range of special guest yoga teachers throughout the year, and if you’re lucky enough to join us on 9 May or 16 May 2013, you’ll be taught by the lovely Louise Lykke.

Where is Louise from?
Louise is originally from Denmark and will teach you yoga in weeks commencing 9 May and 16 May.

What type of yoga does she teach?

She is a believer in the heart –oriented Anusara tradition, which includes a range of breathing and strengthening techniques to calm students.

What will learning with her be like?
Louise aims to bring students closer to themselves. Her classes nurture, uplift and calm students through dynamic sequences including invigorating breathing techniques, warming sun salutations, strengthening balance poses, restorative stretches and calming meditation.

What are her qualifications?
Louise is Yoga Alliance certified. She has practiced yoga for 12 years and also holds a communications degree. Louise has done over 500 hours of teacher training, including methodology and techniques, anatomy, physiology, bio-mechanics  yoga philosophy, meditation and pranayama.
