What is her background?
Yoga and pole dancing are her current obsessions but Alice has been active all her life, starting with swimming and dancing featuring heavily in her early years. At the age of 22, she made a life changing decision to give up a university degree in Engineering Product Design and to pursue her passion in all things active. This was a wise choice as she is still working in the fitness industry some 16 years later. Currently Alice runs regular day retreats at The Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath and weekend retreats in North Somerset and Devon.
What type of yoga does she teach?
Alice teaches Ashtanga, Hatha, Power Yoga and Vinyasa in her weeks.
What are her yoga classes like?
Alice starts the week with an introduction to Ashtanga combined with meditation and basic Pranayama, the week develops with Mysore, moon sequence, deep gravity assisted stretching and more.
How did she become a yogi?
After a move from London to Bath left her teacher-less, she discovered Ashtanga Yoga (a great tool for those working without a teacher). This style of Yoga allowed Alice to develop as a yogi by practicing alone at home and by attending various workshops and teacher trainings with many different great teachers including David Willians, David Swenson, Lino Miele and more in the UK and India.
