Combine Spanish lessons with an Argentinean Tango dance course and you will really be immersing yourself in the local culture, learning how to dance to the sultry Latino rhythm.
After your Spanish lessons, you will get out of the classroom and go learn to dance the classic Argentinean Tango at the prestigious Mayoral Academy. Here you will be taught by experienced and passionate instructors whose previous students include Princess Diana and Bill Clinton.
Go learn to speak Spanish in a group class where you can pursue your passion for language and move your hips to the seductive Argentinean Tango by combining language lessons with an exhilarating dance course.

Start Days
- Classes start on selected Mondays throughout the year
Class Schedule
Spanish Lessons
- Language classes run daily Monday through to Friday each week
- Spanish language lessons start each day at 9am
- You will have 4 group classes per day lasting 50 minutes each
- You will have two short breaks each day
Tango Lessons
- You will have 4 Tango classes per week, 2 group and 2 private, each lasting 1 hour
- Your classes will take place at the prestigious Mayoral Academy located just a couple of blocks from the Spanish language school
- Days and times for the Tango classes can be arrange by you to suit your needs
What will I learn?
Spanish Lessons in Buenos Aires
- You will focus on the four main language skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening
- You will be taught by native Spanish speakers who have a passion for teaching
- Lessons are highly interactive and you will speak Spanish from day 1 both inside and outside the classroom
Argentinean Tango Lessons in Buenos Aires
- You will receive lessons from some of the city’s best teachers
- Your teacher’s will give you advice on the top Tango clubs in the city
- During your lessons you will learn the basic moves of Argentinean Tango
Free Time
- The school offers a host of cultural activities to help integrate you into the local way of life
- Weekly activities include museum tours, salsa and tango clubs, local festivals and many more
- Optional weekend excursions offered include coastal trips, visits to colonial villages, outdoor adventures, football matches between Boca Juniors and River Plate, tango shows and more
- You will have plenty of free time to explore the local area and practice your new found language skills or just kick back and relax on this learning holiday with a difference
Language Level Test
- Please arrive at the school by 8.30am on your first day for a short level test
- This test will assess your understanding of the language and will help the course organisers to place you in the right group class for your level
Public Holidays
School in Buenos Aires is open during the following holidays:
(On those days a special class of 5 levels, focused n conversation and with no maximum number of students will be held from 9:30 to 1:30.)

Other Information
- We recommend you bring a small dictionary with you
- Please make sure you have comfortable, non restrictive clothing and the correct shoes for your Tango classes (non grip soles, ideally with a small heel)
