Suitability
- Suitable for those who are already open water dive certified
- Minimum age 12
- You must be able to swim

Important Medical Information
- You must have a valid medical report; we recommend you check with your doctor that you are fit to scuba dive before booking to avoid cancellation charges
- Please note that you will be required to complete an RSTC medical form to ensure you are of sound health before taking the course; details of how to download this form will be printed on your booking voucher

Class Start Days
- Classes run daily year round

Class Schedule
1st Day - Safety Dive
- On the first day of the course you will be require to attend a two hour safety check dive at the dive school
- You will have the choice to attend the safety dive at 8am or 1pm
- During the 2 hour safety check you will be evaluated by the instructor and then complete 1 dive

2nd And 3rd Day - Advanced Open Water Diving Course
- Your daily schedule will start at 9am each day
- You will have around 8 hours of tuition each day

What will I be doing?
- Learning about advanced open water scuba diving safety issues
- Your qualified instructor will take you through the 5 specialised subjects of the advanced certificate, such as, navigation, buoyancy, night dives, diving in currents, searching and recovery
- You will also learn how to identify the different fish you will encounter on your dive
- Update your existing skills and knowledge during theory session
- 5 dives which will focus on the 5 specialised areas

Qualification
- On successful completion of this course, you will receive your PADI advanced open water dive certification

Weather Conditions
- For safety reasons, courses will be completed in sheltered areas of the dive centre in the event of bad weather

Compulsory Extras
- Please note you will be required to pay for a course manual (approximately €35) and examination (approximately €30) in order to gain your PADI certification, they can both be paid in full on arrival at the school
