You will be taught by highly qualified native German speakers who have a passion for teaching and use proven teaching techniques.
With 5 lessons per day, your language classes are highly interactive and you will speak only German from day 1 both inside and outside of the classroom. Focusing on the four main language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, each day will see you increasing in confidence.

Start Days
- Classes start on fixed Mondays throughout the year
Free Time
- The unique location of the Island of Lindau on Lake Constance offers a wide variety of options for outdoor activities including mountain biking, sailing, swimming, windsurfing and cycling
- The school rents cycles for just 2 Euros per day so that you can explore the local area
- The school rents a sport hall and offers school sport once per week including volleyball, basketball and football
- Visit Meersburg, the oldest castle in Germany
- The German railways offer a very low priced group ticket for unlimited travel at weekends when a group of 5 travel together and as a result, students from the school often arrange group weekend trips to the Alps and German cities to take advantage of the special train fares
- You will have plenty of time to explore the local area, the shops, cafes, galleries, theatres, museums and more to take in the German culture
Class Schedule
- Classes run daily Monday through to Friday each week
- You will have 4 classes starting at 9am daily
- In addition to your 4 lessons each morning, the remaining 5 lessons will be spread across 2 afternoons each week leaving you 3 clear afternoons each week to join in the social activities
- You will have a short break between each class
Level Test
- Please arrive at the school by 8.15am on your first day for a short level test
- This test will assess your understanding of the language and will help the course organisers to place you in the right group class for your level
Other Information
- We recommend you bring a small German dictionary with you
- To enhance your learning holiday experience, this school guarantees that no more than 25% of other students will be of the same mother tongue
