Detailed course itinerary

With 30 lessons each week, this intensive group course is recommended for highly motivated language learners. You will be taught by highly qualified native Spanish speakers who have a passion for teaching and use proven teaching techniques.

Lessons are highly interactive and you will speak Spanish from day 1 both inside and outside of the classroom. Focusing on the four main language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, each day will see you rapidly increasing in confidence.

Suitability
- Suitable for all levels with the exception of complete beginners

- Minimum age 16


Start Days
- Classes start on Mondays and run throughout the year
- If you are unable to arrive in to Puerto Plata until Monday or Tuesday, please email as we may be able to adjust the start dates to accommodate your needs


Class Schedule
- Classes run daily Monday through to Friday each week
- Classes start at 9am each day
- You will have 6 group classes per day lasting 45 minutes each
- You will have a short break between each class and a longer lunch break
- Please note that if there is no group for your Spanish level, you will receive 22.5 private lessons per week instead of group classes


Level Test
- Please arrive at the school by 8.45am on your first day for a short level test
- This test will assess your understanding of the language and will help the course organisers to place you in the right group class for your level either in the morning or the afternoon classes


Free Time
- On your first day the school facilitator will take you out on an orientation tour of the area
- The school offers optional cultural and sports activities throughout the week
- There are a variety of half day, whole day or weekend excursions you can take part in
- You will have plenty of free time to explore the local area and practice your new found language skills or just kick back and relax on the beautiful beaches on this learning holiday with a difference


Other Information Time
- We recommend you bring a small dictionary with you
- If you book the optional accommodation with this course, a free transfer from the airport will be included
