A wet and windy taste of London 2011

Well, we survived the storms, the mud bath and the wind that whipped the stand up in the air this weekend in Regents Park for the Taste of London festival.

It was no flaming June I can tell you and until the people at Taste had the foresight to finally put down a walk way and some wood chips in front of the stand, quite frankly it was a wash out.  But hey, what’s a bit of rain and mud to die-hard foodies?  Whilst Thursday and Friday were quieter, the weekend was an overall success as periods of the sun shining through made for a party like atmosphere and overall, doesn’t a bit of rain make you think more of getting away for a  holiday?
