 Suitability
- Suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced Spanish learners
- Surfing lessons are suitable for all levels of kitesurfing ability
- You must be a strong swimmer and be in good physical condition

Spanish And Kitesurfing Course Start Days
- The language school is open all year round but, in order to experience the best wind conditions, kitesurfing is only available from November to April
- Spanish and kitesurfing courses start every Monday from the start of November to the end of April
- If you book the optional accommodation with this learning holiday, you’ll check-in on Sunday before the course starts

How Will I Learn Spanish?
- Spanish courses are focused on having fun and classes are highly interactive
- You will focus on the four main Spanish language skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening
- There will be individual and group work such as role plays and conversation practice
- You’ll also work on developing your grammar in practical contexts
- You will learn with a wide range of teaching aids; language text books, Mexican press, audio/video, local songs or games and each week your linguistic skills are assessed to ensure you are always in the right group for your level
- Everyday the students will be required to do approximately one hour of homework
- Please note all Spanish lessons will be held in the native language of Spanish; a proven teaching technique that will fully immerse you in the language and accelerate your learning experience

What Will I Learn During The Kite Surfing Lessons?
- You will receive private kitesurf lessons to ensure you receive dedicated tuition and make the most of your time at the beach
- All lessons will include the kitesurfing basics according to your IKO (International Kiteboarding Organisation) level such as surfing theory, water safety, kitesurfing techniques and wind conditions
- Your instructors are all IKO certified and will take you to the spots to suit your needs and ability
- As a beginner you will learn one handed kite flying, tacking upwind without a board, how to control the kite and launch in the sea and body dragging in the water
- As an intermediate kite surfer, your certified kite surf instructor will work with you to improve your kite surf techniques, such as, managing your practice area, controlling direction and power, how to ride upwind, jumps and more

Spanish Course Schedule
- Spanish language classes start at 9am each day
- Classes run daily Monday through to Friday each week
- You will have 5 group classes per day lasting 50 minutes each
- You will have a short break between each class

Kite Surfing Lessons Schedule
- This school has partnered with a kite surfing school in Xpu-Ha in order to offer this kite surfing and Spanish course package
- The kite surfing lessons take place at a beaches of Xpu-Ha, 30 minutes from Playa del Carmen by public transport (transportation is not included and costs around 25 pesos each way in a collectivo)
- You will hit the beach and learn to kite surf at the weekend or after your Spanish lessons
- Your will have 2, 3 hour private kite surf lessons during the week
- The exact time of your lessons are flexible and are subject to suitable windy weather conditions, times will be confirmed on arrival
- Please note that the full 6 hours of kite surf lessons may be scheduled on Saturdays to avoid missing any Spanish classes but lesson times can vary as you will be scheduled to kitesurf when the best wind conditions are available during your stay
- Should your kite surf lessons be scheduled on the same day as your group Spanish lessons, the language school will offer you a private lesson during the week so you do not miss out on learning Spanish

Kite Surfing Equipment And Conditions
- The kite surf school uses EH Kiteboarding branded equipment
- They use both EZE (7-13 metres) and RIPPEHR V5 (6-12 metres – for advanced kitesurfers only) kites
- EH boards are also used
- Xpu-Ha offers soft, white and wide sandy beaches and dominant, steady winds during the peak months of November to April

Free Time in Playa Del Carmen
Many people on these holiday courses travel solo as they make perfect singles holidays so the language school organises a host of social and cultural activities each week to help you to get to know your fellow classmates and to integrate you into the Mexican way of life, some activities are free and others have a small charge and may include:
- You can take part in cooking, arts, salsa dance classes, guitar lessons, sports and more
- Each week the school shows a film in Spanish to work on your comprehension
- Weekend excursions to Cancun, Tulum and Xel-ha, Chichen-Itza and Cenote Ikkil and more can be arranged
- You will have plenty of free time to explore the local area and practice your new found language skills or just kick back and relax on this learning holiday with a difference

Spanish Language Level Test
- Please arrive at the school by 8.30am on your first day for a short level test
- This test will assess your understanding of the language and will help the course organisers to place you in the right group class for your level

Optional Accommodation & Transfers
- This language school offers a choice of optional accommodation either staying with a local Spanish family to immerse yourself in the Mexican culture and practice your Spanish or in a shared student residence with other students
- Accommodation details can be seen under the ‘Course Overview’ tab and can be added during the booking process
- Transfers from Cancun airport to your accommodation are included on arrival, please enter your flight arrival details into the special request box at the time of booking to confirm your pick-up
 

Compulsory Extras
- Spanish language text books are not included in the price and will be charged as an extra during the booking process
