About the school
The charming village of Bouliac where the chateau is located is just 10 minutes from Bordeaux city centre. Not only is Bordeaux recognised as a UNESCO world heritage site but it is also the oldest wine region in the world.
This beautiful Chateau dates back to 1852 and is surrounded by 3 hectares of grounds where, depending on the season, many of the French cooking course ingredients are grown. All the rooms in the chateau are decorated with period furniture and boast stunning garden views.
The dining room and professional kitchen are located in the Orangerie, former wine cellar dating back to the 19th century is fully equipped with all you’ll need for your French cooking lessons as well as a traditional bread oven.
Under the expert supervision of Suzanne; your hostess and owner of the property, you will learn how to cook traditional, seasonal French food as well as learning all about the wines from this famous region.

A taxi from the airport to the school will take approximately 20 minutes depending on traffic and costs approximately €70.
Car hire is recommended to fully explore the area.
The nearest train station is Gare Saint-Jean in Bordeaux and is linked from Paris by TGV. A taxi from the train station to the chateau costs around 40 Euros.
