Centred right in the heart of Rome you will be within easy walking distance of the fantastic historical sites, the Coliseum is visible from the hotel and Trastevere is just a short walk away, a perfect setting for your pizza and bread making experience.
Under the guidance of the friendly and professional chef, you will immerse yourself in Italian life to discover how to make the perfect pizza and delicious Italian bread. You will enjoy the meal you have created during your cooking lesson in the company of your fellow chefs and diners.
Your pizza and bread making course will take place in the hotel kitchen where you will have full use of the professional equipment, a wonderful way for you to experience first-hand Italy’s rich culinary and cultural history.
The aim of the course is to give you the skills to cook fabulous Italian classics at home so you can always enjoy the flavours and the memories of Rome.
Suitability

- Your chefs are Italian but speak perfect English
- Minimum age: 12 (children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)

Travelling Solo?
- These cookery holidays make great singles holidays and in fact, many people travel solo

Italian Pizza And Bread Making Holiday Start Days
- This Italian cooking course runs on set dates year round
- All arrivals are between Tuesdays and Fridays inclusive for 2 nights / 3 days

Italian Pizza And Bread Making Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival Day
- Check-in anytime after 2pm and enjoy take the evening to settle into the impressive surroundings
Day 2 – Pizza and Bread Making Class
- Enjoy a leisurely Italian breakfast before starting your cooking lesson around 11am
- Your cooking lesson will last around 5 hours and will focus on cooking delicious traditional pizza and Italian breads
- After the cooking lesson, sit down and enjoy eating the delicious dishes you have created finishing around 4pm
- The rest of the day and evening is free to explore Rome
Day 3 – Departure Day
- After breakfast you may check-out of your room by 11am ready for departure, taking home with you new cooking skills and an insight into Italian life that will stay with you long after the holiday is over
What Will I Learn?
- Courses concentrate on the art of creating traditional Italian pizza and delicious Italian breads
- The idea of the course is that you’ll learn the techniques and skills to recreate the dishes back home to impress even your most foodie friends
- Please note that you will be learning the art of Roman pizza making using a conventional oven so you can recreate this back home

Dishes vary according to the season and what food is available but may include:
- Pizza, bases and toppings
- Traditional home-made breads
- Fennel bread with sun dried tomatoes
- Brown bread with raisins and walnuts
- Bruschette with various toppings
- Dietary requests can be catered for including vegetarians if advised at the time of booking
About Your Chef
- You’ll be taught to cook by one of the hotel’s own chefs who cooks in the evenings for the restaurant so be prepared to learn techniques and skills from an enthusiastic and professional chef
Accommodation
- You'll stay in a well appointed twin or double room in the ideally located hotel
- Check in anytime after 2pm on your arrival day (day 1) and check out by 11am on your departure day (day 3)
- The charming and elegant hotel offers the warmest of welcomes
- There are a total of 60 guest rooms
- Tastefully decorated rooms are spacious and light with en suite bathrooms and satellite television
- You will have free use of the patio, garden area and small library
- For your culinary enjoyment there is also a restaurant with an excellent choice of wines
