Whatever your level; learning Spanish in Costa Rica whilst living with a local family is the best way to accelerate your learning experience.

This Spanish and Dance package includes your language tuition, 10 Latino dance classes, accommodation with a local family, all meals and a host of activities.

A home stay will enhance your language learning experience. All hosts are sociable, like to meet new people and can give a warm welcome to students giving you the opportunity to experience Costa Rican life first hand and practice your language skills on a daily basis.

Your language lessons will be taught by highly qualified native Spanish speakers who have a passion for teaching and use proven teaching techniques.

Lessons are highly interactive and you will speak Spanish from day 1 both inside and outside of the classroom. Focusing on the four main language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, each day will see you increasing in confidence.

Your Latino dance course is taught by qualified dance teachers and over the 10 lessons, you'll learn how to dance to the beat of Merengue, Salsa, Cumbia and Bolero.

Suitability
- Suitable for all levels from beginners to advanced
- Dance classes are split between beginners and intermediates
- Minimum age 16

Start Days
- Classes start on Mondays and run throughout the year

Class Schedule
- Classes run daily Monday through to Friday each week
- Language classes start at 8am each day
- You will have 4 group language lessons per day
- 2 classes are for 1 hour each and 2 classes are for 50 minutes each
- You will have a mid morning coffee break
- You will have 2 hours of dance classes each afternoon at either 2pm or 4pm
- Your dance classes are held on campus in a special dance area with a maxium group size of 20 in each class

What Will I Learn?
- Whatever your level of Spanish, this course will really help to develop your linguistic skills not only in class but also outside of the classroom as you practice your Spanish each day both with your host family as well as in your dance classes
- You will learn how to dance Merengue, Salsa, Cumbia and Bolero taught by professional Latin dance teachers

Language Level Test
- Please arrive at the school by 7.30am on your first day for a short level test
- This test will assess your understanding of the language and will help the course organisers to place you in the right group class for your level either in the morning or the afternoon classes

Accommodation
- Accommodation is included from Sunday to Saturday
- You may arrive any time on Sunday afternoon
- You will be allocated a single room or will share a twin with another student in basic home stay accommodation with a local family
- You will share a bathroom
- Your host may be a single person, a couple or a family
- You will have your own house keys and are completely free to come and go as you please
- All families and accommodation is inspected by the school regularly

Meals
- All meals are included
- If you have any dietary needs, please enter these in the special requests box during booking

Laundry
- A laundry service is included once a week

Host Family Location
- Host families live close to the school
- Your host family address and full details about who you will be staying with will be emailed to you at least 7 days before arrival

Arrival Transfer
- If required, this package includes a pick up at the airport on Sunday

Preferences
- Tell us if you have any specific dietary requirements, allergies, preferences to stay in a family with no pets etc. by noting these in the special request box and these will be accommodated where possible

Free Time
- The school offers a host of exciting complimentary activities such as additional Latin dance classes, volcano, waterfall and beach trips, a tour of the area and many more
- Alternatively, you will have plenty of free time to explore the local area and practice your new found language skills or just kick back and relax on the stunning beaches
