About the school, map and directions
Tastefully restored to a high specification whilst retaining its original rustic charm, these beautiful French farmhouse and farm cottages are intimate and idyllic.
The cottages are set in a lovely orchard with seating area, ideal for a leisurely glass of wine or an al fresco meal on your own private patio outside your cottage.
Tucked away near the village of Caulnes right in the heart of Brittany surrounded by breathtaking views, the farmhouse and cottages are ideally located just 40 minutes from Rennes and less than 45 minutes from the beautiful northern coastline, St. Malo and Dinard; the ideal base for exploring this stunning area of France.
The region is highly acclaimed for its exquisite gastronomic cuisine especially Breton dairy milk and salted butter. The home of delicious crepes and galettes, the area is renowned worldwide for its incredible selection of fresh seafood which can be accompanied by fine local wine, not forgetting the wonderful cider. Making Brittany the ideal place to taste and experience some of the best French cuisine whilst getting to know the culture as you immerse yourself in all things French.

Directions - How to get here...
By Taxi - Nearest airport: Dinard - 42km (42mins) or Rennes - 53km (45 mins)
Ferry ports : St Malo 56km (53mins) Roscoff 163 km (2hrs) Cherbourg or Caen 200km (2hrs 15 mins)
You can also reach the farmhouse by train. Take the train from Paris to Rennes then Rennes to Caulnes. A free transfer is offered from Caulnes railway station to the accommodation.
To travel from Rennes airport to Caulnes train station, take the bus from the airport to the train station (around 15mins) then take a train from Rennes to Caulnes.

A transfer can be booked (on request and subject to availability) for £20 per car, each way from Rennes airport.
