Spanish Tapas Cooking Course

Andalucia, Los Juncares, Spain

Course itinerary

Set in grounds with olive and fruit trees, vegetable and herb garden, this charming and tastefully restored 150 year old Finca is the setting for your Spanish tapas cooking break.

Andalucia is the true home of Tapas. The word tapa means lid and it is thought that on a hot day in Andalucia a piece of bread topped with ham or cheese covered a glass of sherry to keep out the flies and started the idea of tapas, ‘eat when you drink and drink when you eat’ is the Andalucian way!

Under the guidance of your host, Chef Clive who has been a professional Chef specialising in the Mediterranean cuisine for over 20 years, you will discover a variety of both hot and cold Spanish tapas dishes as well as learning to cook a traditional Spanish dessert.

Learn about the different types of Tapas, the traditional methods and key ingredients which are all either organically grown in the grounds of the Finca or sourced from local producers.

Combining fun hands-on Spanish Tapas cooking lessons with a relaxing environment and friendly hosts, this short Tapas cookery holiday will teach you to cook Tapas to impress your friends back home.
