Your Japanese course will be taught by highly qualified native Japanese speakers who have a passion for teaching and use proven teaching techniques tailored specifically to the needs of students whose native languages are predominantly western.
Your Japanese lessons will also focus on the teaching of Japanese through Pop and traditional Japanese culture including Manga and tea ceremonies, a fantastic method for learning about this rich country in depth as well as improving you language skills.

Japanese Courses Start Days
- The language school is open year round
- Japanese courses start on selected Mondays throughout the year
- If you book the optional accommodation with this learning holiday, you’ll check-in on Sunday before the course starts
How Will I Learn Japanese?
- You will learn the Japanese language and culture in a relaxed and friendly environment
- Japanese courses are focused on having fun and classes are highly interactive
- You will focus on the four main Japanese language skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening and you will also learn about Japanese culture
- There will be individual and group work such as role plays and conversation practice
- You’ll also work on developing your grammar in practical contexts
- You will learn with a wide range of teaching aids; language text books, local press, audio/video
-Japanese songs or games (these activities may be reserved for students with a higher level of Japanese) and each week your linguistic skills are assessed to ensure you are always in the right group for your level
-Class content and teaching style is focused mainly on the needs of Western students, unlike most other language schools
- Classes are limited to a maximum of 7 students so you can ensure that you receive the maximum level of attention from you teachers
Japanese Course Schedule
- Classes run daily Monday through to Friday each week
- You will have 4 group classes per day
- 4 hours a day from 9 to 11am with 1 hour break then 12pm-2pm
- Lessons start at 9am each day

Free Time In Fukuoka City, Japan
Many people on these holiday courses travel solo as they make perfect singles holidays so the language school organises a host of social and cultural activities each week to help you to get to know your fellow classmates and to integrate you into the Japanese way of life, some activities are free and others have a small charge and may include:
- Japanese film nights
- An outing to a restaurant every Friday night
- Weekend excursions, to Mount Aso and Onsen hot springs
- You will also have free time to explore the local area and practice your new found language skills or just kick back and relax on this language learning holiday
Japanese Language Level Test
- Please arrive at the school by 8am on your first day for a short level test
- This test will assess your understanding of the language and will help the course organisers to place you in the right group class for your level)
- The school request that you learn the alphabet before arriving at the school so you can recognize certain basic characters
Other Information
- We recommended that you take a small Japanese dictionary, pens and paper with you
Optional Accommodation
- This language school offers a choice of optional accommodation either staying with a local Japanese family to immerse yourself in the local culture and practise your Japanese or in a nearby dormitory
