The Momochi seaside area also boasts one of Japan’s tallest towers the Fukuoka Tower and a giant baseball stadium with retractable roof. Ohori Park is also close to the city centre and is one of the biggest urban parks in Japan housing a beautiful art gallery, stunning Japanese gardens and the ruins of Fukuoka Castle.

Fukuoka is also an extremely convenient city to visit as the airport is just 10 minutes from the city centre by metro and from the centre the nearest beach is just 10 minutes on a bus or by bike. You can also visit other Japanese cities on the famous shinkansen or bullet trains. You can fly to Tokyo in an hour and a half.

Your Japanese lessons will take place in one of the 18 comfortable classrooms in the centrally located school, you can check your emails, or relax, play the Wii in the student area with your fellow students or visit the traditional Japanese tea room.
