Public Transport:
You can take a taxi directly from the airport to Jacó beach for about $80 to $95 USD (price depends largely on your bargaining skills).
Approximate time: 2 hours. Taxi drivers will accept dollars or colones.
Or, you can take a bus from downtown San Jose to Jaco Beach - buses run about every 3 hours from 7.30am to 6.30pm daily.
If you arrive in the evening into San Jose after the public buses have stopped running, we recommend you take a taxi.
