About the location
This photography school is located just 30km inland from the coastal village of San Roque with the Costa De La Luz to the left and the Costa Del Sol to the right.
Set in Gaucin, one of the prettiest pueblo blancos (white village) in Andalucia, you’ll stay in a beautiful hotel, Hotel La Fructuosa, in the centre of this village. The hotel offers a calm, cozy atmosphere with stunning views and has 5 bedrooms in total. The breakfast room is a restored ancient wine press or if you want to soak up the views, you can take breakfast outdoors.
You’ll stay in your own individual bedroom with private bathroom during your stay and every room has a TV and Wi-Fi connection.
Your photography teachers Sue and Alberto live in a lovely house nearby in the village of Casares and they will be on hand to ensure you have a fantastic stay in Gaucin. Your teachers, Sue & Alberto teach in a fun, relaxed way and aim to pass on their knowledge of digital photography to all those with a passion for photography. Sue, originally from Australia exhibits her photographs in both private and public collections in Australia and Spain and is also a qualified teacher. Alberto, a native Spaniard is a keen photographer with a passion for good food, wine and taking guests on both a photographic and a cultural experience.
This photography school promises more than just a photography holiday, it is a full immersion in Spain, the land, people, culture, food, wine and history and you'll benefit from private one-on-one tuition in a fun and friendly atmosphere with your tutors Alberto and Sue.
Accompanied by two photographers during your photography course, you'll get off the tourist trail and explore this hidden area of Spain as you hone your photography skills and take pictures you can be proud of.
