This PADI open water diving course is ideal for those who are looking learn all the necessary diving skills to become fully autonomous. This scuba diving school is part of Project AWARE and has Go ECO status so you can rest assured you’ll also be diving responsibly.
Your experienced PADI certified instructors are passionate about diving and will introduce you to both the theoretical and practical aspects of scuba diving teaching you how to plan and go diving with a buddy to depths of up to 18 meters.

Suitability
- Suitable for all including complete beginners
- Minimum age 10 (under 16’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)
- You must be able to swim
Important Medical Information
- You must have a valid medical report; we recommend you check with your doctor that you are fit to scuba dive before booking to avoid cancellation charges
- A PADI Medical Form will be emailed to you after booking which you can complete before travelling to Thailand
- If necessary, a Medical Form can also be arranged on arrival at the school
Scuba Diving Class Start Days
- Classes run daily all year round
Open Water Scuba Dive Class Schedule
- You’ll start in the classroom and pool but will then jump on the dive boat for the practical aspects of the course
- On day’s 1 and 2, you will start at 9am in the classroom or at the pool
- On days 3 and 4 you will start at 7am as you will be diving off the boats
- You will have around 7 hours of tuition each day
- This course includes 4 dives, all off the boat
What Will I Learn?
- Learning about scuba diving safety issues
- You will receive theory lectures on 5 different modules in order to achieve your PADI certificate
- Practical diving exercises in confined open water covering 20 basic scuba skills
- You’ll have 4 dives off the boat visiting the reefs
- Please note that this course requires you to complete all of the knowledge reviews from the PADI manual in order to pass your exam and to become qualified so be prepared for some homework during your course
PADI Qualification
- On successful completion of this course, you will receive your first PADI open water dive certification
- This will allow you to dive up to 18 metres
Weather Conditions
- For safety reasons, courses will be completed in sheltered areas of the dive centre in the event of bad weather
