Find inner peace on this 7 night/8 day Pilates and weight loss retreat, which focuses on both your inner and outer wellbeing. The course will help you to alter the way you view dieting, food and exercise to motivate you to make permanent and sustainable changes in your lifestyle and learn how to stick to them.

Set in a tranquil Spanish country house in the countryside of Murcia which used to be the local village school, surrounded by rolling hills and mountains, this is the perfect location to relax and really immerse yourself in the life-changing program.

Your experienced instructor will gently guide you through the motivational plan in a calming and appropriate environment, and you can opt to receive 21 days of support, advice and encouragement once you have returned home, so this really is a great course if you are not just looking for initial results but want to maintain these changes to your body and soul in the long term.

You will be encouraged to uncover your inner self through daily journal writing and coaching, and daily consultations on your relationship with food which will result in you losing weight due to a healthier attitude towards your diet. Specific yoga and Pilates exercises teach you how to relax and reflect, while meditation and therapy sessions introduce self-discipline that can be applied to other aspects of life.

Your course instructor has extensive yoga and Pilates experience and has hand selected exercises to help you to get the most out of your development plan, whilst providing personalised and individual attention during your stay. She will create a tailored eating plan for you which can be easily maintained after your stay at the retreat.

This is not a crash diet plan, this is a complete change of attitude to food and wellbeing and through gentle exercise, detox and a nutritious diet you will achieve a healthier state of being in an encouraging and motivating environment and results that will last a lifetime.


Suitability
- This programme is aimed at those that are ready to try to make a change to their diet and lifestyle for the long term
- There is some preparation required prior to the course, so booking 2 months in advance is recommended if possible
- You will receive a mood food diary which will help us to tailor your eating plan so that you get the most out of your time at the retreat and also sustain this once you have returned home
- The exercises during the retreat are suitable for all ages and levels from complete beginners to those with many years practice of yoga, Pilates and meditation
- Minimum age 18
- You must be fit and well (check with your doctor) to start the course


Solo Holiday?
- These courses make great singles holidays and in fact, most people who take this course travel solo
- There are no single supplements if you are happy to share a room
- If you prefer, private single rooms are available for a supplement (please see the costing and extra tab for prices)


Pilates, Yoga And Weight Loss Holiday Start Dates
- Courses run on set dates quarterly throughout the year
- As there is some pre-preparation before the course, we recommend you book as early as possible
- Holidays run for 7 nights/8 days at the retreat and there is an optional 3 week at-home support plan
 

The Weight-Loss And Wellbeing Approach
- This course will aim to teach you how to look at yourself as a whole person and not just at the weight
- You’ll be looking at your lifestyle, your everyday experiences and how they affect you, how you deal with things and how this effects your attitude to food
- You will not be calorie counting, weighing food, and going on a low fat diet
- In fact you will no longer be concerned about diets, how many pounds and stones are needed to be lost, or how much exercise you should be doing, this is about a total approach to your health and wellbeing to change your lifestyle for good
- The course will teach you to set ‘real’ goals that are attainable and logical for the long term
- You’ll also have a wonderful week of yoga, meditation and Pilates sessions to energise and relax you and the retreat also has a wonderful Pilates reformer machine which delivers amazing results in terms of body toning and is available for supervised use only
- Overall, the course is meant to be fun and achievable so you return home relaxed, restored, revived and inspired and with a better understanding of yourself
- Many people also return home might lighter not just in weight terms but also in their attitude to life


Sample Itinerary
Please note: This itinerary is for guidance only and may change depending on the groups’ needs. Classes start on day 2 so you can arrive anytime on day 1 and check out any time on day 8

Day 1 – Arrival day
- Today is arrival day and you can check-into your room any time after 2pm
- The afternoon is free for you to enjoy the retreat pool or just relax and mingle with the other guests
- You’ll also meet your host for the week and will start to discuss the week programme
- In the evening, join your fellow guests for a specially prepared nutritious dinner together

Days 2-7 – Yoga, Pilates, meditation and wellbeing consultations
- Each morning you will have a group yoga and Pilates session at 8:30am followed by a light breakfast
- After breakfast, you'll have time to write in your daily journal
- Every morning you will have a private consultation with your personal consultant to provide you with ongoing support and assist you with your personalised plan through meditation and therapy sessions (sessions take place during the morning up to 12 noon and exact times will be confirmed on arrival)
- Enjoy a group lunch at 1:30pm which has been specially prepared for your personal eating plan
- The early afternoon is free for you to relax at this lovely resort
- There will be a creative art therapy session of mosaic making workshop one afternoon in the week (date to be confirmed upon arrival)
- There will be an early evening class of either Pilates or yoga and additional meditation before dinner
- A healthy evening dinner will be enjoyed at the resort with your fellow guests each evening

Day 8 – Departure day
- After a healthy breakfast, check out of your room ready for your departure home feeling inspired and with a new attitude to your own personal wellbeing and lifestyle

Days 9-30 – Follow up at-home support plan
- After you return home, you can opt to receive follow up support from your tutor and host Vivienne
- Before you leave the retreat, your host will work with you on a personalised plan and you’ll receive contact during the 21 days after you return home to help you attain your goals

Yoga Pilates And Weight Loss Retreat Accommodation
- You’ll spend 7 nights/8 days in a tranquil country house quietly tucked away within bougainvillea shrouded gardens backing onto the pool area
- The house used to be the village school and has been tastefully converted into a comfortable and relaxing retreat with a total of 5 bedrooms
- Inside the house there is a sizeable dining area, living room with TV and music player, books and games for guests’ use and main house bathroom
- Yoga and Pilates lessons take place on-site at the studio which is fully equipped with a Pilates reformer machine and mirrored with high ceilings
- There is one swimming pool with pool bar serving juices and a Jacuzzi
- Prices are based on 2 people sharing a twin room with bathroom
- If there are 2 people travelling together, you will be allocated in a bedroom together
- If you are travelling solo, you will be allocated a room with another solo traveller of the same sex for no additional supplement but if you prefer a private room, you can pay a supplement for your own private bedroom which can be added during the booking process
- Wi-fi is available throughout the house
- Your hosts own a number of rescue dogs who are only outside providing the guests do not mind

Rooms available:
- The sunshine room is a large bedroom that can accommodate 4 single beds for group bookings, or twin/double for couples or 2 sharing. It looks out onto the gardens and has air conditioning and en-suite facilities
-The blue room can accommodate 2 singles/ or a double. It looks out onto the garden and has air conditioning and en-suite facilities
- The purple room can accommodate twin or double, overlooks the inner courtyard and has en-suite facilities
- The pink room is a single room overlooking the inner courtyard and has en-suite toilet and wash facilities and shared bathroom

Your Instructor
- Your instructor has been practicing yoga and Pilates for many years using her knowledge, enthusiasm and experience to inspire and develop the same focus in those seeking to simply improve their wellbeing
- Vivienne is trained by The Body Control Pilates Association (BCPA) which is Europe's foremost professional Pilates organisation
-She is passionate about achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through exercise and diet, and will dedicate her time to helping you to achieve weight loss
- She is also a certified Pilates reformer instructor which means she will be able to build a program with you to target strength building or to change and improve body shape
- She is also trained and experienced with Osteoporosis/Osteopenic clients so her programmes will benefit sufferers of Osteoporosis including Back&bones4good, an excellent programme for posture, balance, strength, mobility and stronger bones
- You will not only practice yoga and Pilates using mats but the retreat also boasts a Pilates reformer machine for supervised use
