Holiday itinerary
This 5 night/6 day Pilates reformer holiday begins with a posture assessment and an initial wellness consultant where you will talk to your certified Pilates teacher about your goals for the six days and any injuries or ailments you may have.
After that, your Pilates programme begins with a foundation course that teaches you the safe operation of the reformers and basic movements and choreography. Following this mandatory opener, you get the chance to participate in two of the retreat's signature Pilates reformer classes every day of your stay.
Choose between Butt & Thigh programmes, designed to give the lower body a power workout, Fit & Tone classes, a total body workout aimed at making you longer and leaner, and an Abs & Arms programmes which homes in on your core ‘powerhouse’ and will help to define your arms.
As well as taking group Pilates classes, you’ll work on your personal goals and target injuries or specific physical or health problems in a private reformer session. During the class, you’ll receive the undivided attention of a certified Pilates trainer who will take you through each exercise of a tailor-made programme carefully checking your movements and placements.
As well as Pilates, guests are free to take part in other group fitness classes offered by the retreat which include bootcamp sessions, chi gong or circuit training.
Classes are all relaxed and fun with plenty of variation throughout your stay. All of the sessions are meticulously designed for maximum results and optimum safety by an International Master of Pilates.
When you aren’t toning, strengthening and elongating, enjoy your three complimentary therapies at the retreat’s luxury spa. Reenergise yourself with an open-air Thai stretch massage that will mobilise your joints and knead away tensions. You can also enjoy a rejuvenation treatment, designed specifically for athletes post-exercise. This firm massage will help to relieve muscular pain as well as any joint problems you may experience. Your final complimentary treatment is a back, neck and shoulders massage which will ease away pains, improve your circulation and induce deep relaxation.
Otherwise, you'll find plenty to do around the retreat. Enjoy a refreshing drink from the pool juice bar, unwind around the serene infinity pool or visit the herbal steam room and infrared sauna.
Head to the restaurant where you will find healthy and carefully-planned meals to compliment your Pilates programme throughout your stay. For the more adventurous, jungle safaris, elephant tracking trips, and diving, snorkeling and island boat excursions can also be arranged.
