I think that there is a limited amount you can be taught when you learn to surf. The sea where the lessons are held are very crowded in August so it was hard to practice. I would have appreciated is to get a bit more theory and actual teaching (how to turn, what waves are good waves etc) so that even if you don't 'get it' during those lessons you can go and practice yourself later to improve and have an idea of what the next steps are.

For those new to surfing please stress the importance of contacting the school by phone ahead of arrival lessons commence around an hour and a half after low tide, so they move around the day. Second lessons can be postponed due to bad weather and it is important to have time to catch up

Reply from Supplier: Thank you for your helpful feedback, this will be stressed on all correspondance for new surfers.

Overall experience was excellent, though the weather did put a bit of a dampener on the week! Tuition was very good but there is possibly a limit as to the amount of tuition one can give for surfing? Could not fault any of the experience. Most enjoyable!
