The choice of menu was very interesting...we mostly watched while Chef cooked, but he was very nice and we especially loved the goat cheese cake with peach preserves for dessert...the hotel was elegant and the dining room, very beautiful...it's a long drive from Lisbon, but most enjoyable!

The location is excellent and easy to find by car. The hotel is beautiful, accommodation comfortable and the staff friendly, with good food based on local, traditional dishes. The cooking course was fun, and easy going with the chef giving away his secrets on the dishes prepared. A great experience.
