Tango Holiday

We met Ken at Colmenar. After two familiar kisses he guided us on a spectacular way through the mountains of Malaga. Their we found a house with a fantastic panoramic view, a deep silence and we got a very warm welcome by our hosts Erika, Ken and their lovely dogs. What we met overmatched everything we ever expected: a well maintained generous surrounding especially the wonderful terrace with pool, the attentively cultivated garden and our large and nice bedroom with our own private bathroom. We also were regaled on the rich breakfasts (Erika was so flexible with their home made bread - gluten free) with eggs from the family chickens as well as on the fabulous dinners. We enjoyed very recreative days full of relaxation, deep sleep, inspiring daydreaming and touching dialogues. One of the daily highlights was the tango lesson by our very competent "maestros" Erika and Ken. They teached us very patiently, sensitively and with a lot of passion for Tango. We thank you

Calm and lovely place allows to forget about problems and to concentrate on dancing. Teachers are very positive and full of life. It is true that car is necessary if you want to have entertainments outside. But there is no need to look for food around – cooking here is interesting and very nice.

Excellent teachers - they explained the logic of the dance and what actually happens in practice - which was borne out at the milonga. The classes included some of their local students which led to a great atmosphere. Amazing location with a very high level of comfort and hospitality. Recommneded!

We had the most wonderful time with Ken and Erika. Not only is it the most beautiful villa in a stunning location, but also a superbly welcoming atmosphere. They made us incredibly welcome; nothing was too much trouble – from the fantastic food to driving us to the local Milongas (freestyle Tango). As novice Tango dancers we found them to be excellent teachers. They were thorough, but kind and encouraging, and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. We expected to meet two good dancers and teachers but didn’t, they were in fact two exceptionally talented dancers and teachers! In addition to this we came away with four great new friends, Ken, Erika and their two lovely dogs, Paddy and Bridie. Laura and Will.

Ken and Erika are first class hosts. Nothing is too much trouble, I felt very at ease in their home and was disappointed to have to leave and come home. The food tasted great, the views are wonderful. The dancing classes are very relaxed, they go at your own pace and Ken and Erika are very patient.
