We would highly recommend the course, the accommodation and meals. Margaret has made strawberry tarts, choux buns and strawberry and chocolate macaroons

Thanks Marlene (and Tom) for a really great experience. Just back home today and already I have my shopping list ready for lemon tart (with sugar in the pastry of course ;-)). If it tastes half as good as the ones we made under your tuition then I will be happy!

I truly loved it! Marlene and Marc are warm & welcoming hosts, and their home is beautiful. Marlene is a talented instructor, with great experience, technique, and patience. Marc's meals were delicious; his energy & humor created a relaxed amosphere. I learned so much, and also made new friends!

Marlène and Marc do a wonderful job! From the minute I walked in the door, I was made to feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed. Marc's food is scrumptious- every meal was ridiculously, deliciously lovely. Also completely unexpected- I hadn't thought we'd eat and drink quite so well. And Marlène's tuition is great. Her pace, patience and sense of humour create an atmosphere where learning is fun and enjoyable. We worked collaboratively, and together, managed to create amazing things.

Marlene's Patisserie course has been one of the best experiences I have ever taken part in. I learnt so much over a short period of time and I had lots of fun in the process. Marlene was so welcoming and friendly and the skills she taught me will be with me for life. Thankyou for an amazing time!

My daughter and I were made very welcome by Marc and Marlene, nothing was too much trouble, and we felt part of their lovely family. The other girls on the course were great . We learnt lots and have successfully made a couple of things since coming home. All the meals we were given were super.

Thanks to Marlene and Marc I had an amazing, fun and filling time on this course. The accommodation, breakfast and lunches were entertainingly provided by Marc (Marlene is not the only good cook in this house). Marlene was patient, supportive and very enthusiastic teacher. I had a fabulous time.

Was a truly amazing trip! Marlene, Marc & the family were so welcoming and warm! The course was so well organised and I learnt a lot from Marlene! The accommodation and the meals were excellent, cannot find faults in anything and it's highly recommended!

Marlene and Marc are great hosts and Marlene a superb teacher. The accommodation was very comfortable and they made us feel very much at home. I have to say, the food they provided for our breakfast, lunch and evening meals was superb. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

This cooking course was one of the greatest experiences i have had while in France. Marlene and Mark are the most gracious hosts. The food is beyond amazing and the cooking course is an absolute blast! Great food Great company Great time! I would recommend it to anyone!

I really enjoyed my pastry course! Wish it could have been for longer! Marlene and Mark were wonderful hosts and the course offered a nice balance of r&r time as well as course time. Room and food were fantastic too. Definitely recommended!

This was an incredible experience that I will remember forever. I loved the hands-on learning and the small class size. Mark and Marlene were the perfect hosts...the meals were amazing, the rooms were extremely comfortable and their company was delightful! I would recommend this course to anyone.

This was SUPER! Cooking with Marlene is like cooking with a good friend who knows more than you do and is happy to share the secrets! It was exactly what I was looking for. I hope to go back in 2012 for the country cooking class.
