Nearest airports:
Agadir 20km away (around 50mins drive) or you can fly to Marrakech (3 hours drive away)
Optional airport transfers
The surf school in Morocco can arrange airport transfers for you. It costs 1200dh from Marrakech (about £100) split between all those in our 6 seater minibus. For Agadir airport, it costs 300dh for less than 3 people, or 100dh per person for 3 or more people.
Due to Moroccan regulations, we outsource our airport transfers to a locally registered company called Annetours. We work closely with AnneTours offering tours around Taghazout and to other areas of Morocco. Before you arrive, have a check of their website here: http://www.annetours.com/. Kat, the AnneTours rep, is often around the camp as well so you'll be able to chat with her about what they offer!
You can only book optional transfers directly with the surf school in Morocco post-booking.
For the 12 week ASI Surf Instructor course, return airport transfers from Agadir are included in the price.
By taxi from Marrakech:
If you are arriving into Marrakech taxis are readily available outside the airport and take around 3 hours, the cost will be roughly 100 Euros.
From the airport to school by bus:
To take a bus from Marrakech first you need to get to the bus stop. When you get out from the airport you need to jump in a "petit taxi" (little red taxi). Barter for the price, if you have time and patience then go for a price of around 30-40dh (No time or patience prepare yourself to pay 50-100dh). Ask the driver to take you to either the CTM or Supratours bus stations where you can get a ticket to Agadir on fairly regular buses for about 100dh. The bus takes between four and five hours and goes through scenic mountainous terrain, but the road can be uneven:
