• 3 informal French lessons taught by passionate native speaker
• 2 fun and informative wine tastings, taught by qualified wine connoisseur
• 3 guided walks of the local area and vineyards, where you will learn all about the cultivation of the vines and production of wine
• Please note: on Thursdays, the walk and French lesson are replaced by visit to the vibrant fresh food market, where you will sample French country life and food at its best And coffee at the hosts’ favourite café is included - this is so you can practice interacting with locals in your nearly developed French language skills
• Transport and visits to local cellars
• 3 e-books before arrival: French 1, 2 and 3 to help with studying before and after the holiday
• Wi-Fi access, all multi-media presentations and course material
• Accommodation at the manor house in a twin/double room for 3 nights
• You can check in any time after 4pm on day 1 and check-out by noon on day 4
• Please note that your French chat class will finish at midday on day 4 so if you depart before this time you will miss the French class
• Prices are based on two sharing a twin/double room, with ensuite rooms having a private bathroom and single room occupants sharing a bathroom.
• If you are travelling solo, you can choose to share a room with a guest of the same gender for no additional cost, or you can have your own private room for no extra charge (subject to availability)

Location overview

Set in the beautiful town of Madiran at the foot of the Pyrenees mountains and in the famous wine region of Gascony, this rural manor house is surrounded by over 12 acres of meadows, orchards and ancient oak forests. Stay in a lovely 400 year old manor house with four double bedrooms which have been lovingly restored, and relax in tranquil surroundings.
