This wonderful Agriturismo is set deep in the Tuscan countryside between the Etruscan city of Volterra and Pisa, the home of the famous leaning tower. The stunning cities of Florence, Siena and Lucca are all within easy reach making this the perfect base for your Tuscan holiday.

The Agriturismo comprises of two exquisitely restored farmhouses set 1.5km apart along the wine road through the Pisan hills.

One farmhouse dates back to the 17th century and is a perfect example of Tuscan rural construction that has been tastefully converted to maintain all of the original features and boasts a swimming pool, panoramic terrace, barbecue area and elegant dining room.

The owners of the house live there with their family and they take care of the wine and olive oil production from the estate and their visitors staying in one of the seven well-appointed guest rooms.

The other farmhouse is made up of three typical Tuscan stone buildings surrounded by olive trees and was originally owned by the noble Florentine family ‘Pitti’. The owners no longer live at this farmhouse but still work on the land which produces excellent extra virgin olive oil using traditional and organic farming methods.

Rooms here are tastefully decorated in rural Tuscan style with wooden beans and cotto floors and the house also has a lovely swimming pool, veranda and a children’s playground.

- Giuseppe's farmhouse provides Wi-fi underneath the portico next to the office. They have a dog and a cat who are free in the courtyard
