Set in the beautiful countryside of Aveyron, this beautifully restored farmhouse is the setting for your weekend tiara and wedding jewellery making course in France.
Under the guidance of your English host Karen, you’ll learn to use the different jewellery making tools to create your own unique tiara and wedding jewellery pieces.
You’ll spend 2 days in a jewellery making workshop dedicated to tiaras and wedding pieces but will have time to kick back and relax at this rural retreat.

Jewellery Making Course Itineray
Day 1
- You’ll be collected from Rodez airport or train station (other airport collections on request for a supplement) and on the drive to the village of St Geniez d'Olt and the house, you’ll take in some sightseeing
- Your evening is free to make your own arrangements for dinner, if you would like to go to the nearby village transport will be provided
Day 2 and 3
- Following breakfast, you’ll head to the farmhouse table to start your jewellery making lessons
- You’ll design and make 1 or 2 tiaras using silver or gold plated wire, wonderful beads or even semi-precious stone chips
- Note: if you have a wedding colour scheme in mind, you may send fabric samples in advance of arrival to ensure the right bead colours are available for you on arrival or you are welcome to bring your own stones and beads
- You will also be making a matching set of jewellery (to your own design) either to go with a wedding dress or maybe to match another outfit or perhaps as a gift for a bridesmaid or the mother of the bride
- During each day you’ll break for lunch and during the two days you’ll have some free time to relax or take in some more sightseeing before finishing your own unique jewellery pieces
- Each evening is free to make your own arrangements for dinner, again transport is provided to the nearby village or lake if you wish to visit a local restaurant
Day 4
- After breakfast, guests are asked to check out of their room and you can enjoy some free time in Rodez before being taken to the airport or train station for your trip home

Jewellery Making Course Accommodation & Meals
- This tastefully converted cottage has just 2 twin/double guest rooms located in the attic with stunning views
- Rooms are decorated with good quality white cotton sheets, TV with DVD and easy chair and the cottage boasts a kitchen and lounge area with log fire for use by the guests
- There is one bathroom that is shared between the two rooms with a good shower and plenty of hot water
- Breakfast is included daily
- Lunch is included on the 2 jewellery workshop days
- Vegetarians can be catered for
- Wi-fi is unavailable in the area
- Your hosts have cats who are not allowed in guest designated areas

- If your flights do not fit with the dates of the course or you would simply like to spend more time in France to explore the surrounding area and countryside, you can choose to add an extra night during the booking process under the 'Extras' section
- The price for the extra night includes bed and breakfast accommodation, seesighting in the local area and transport during excursions
