Set in stunning Southern France, and featuring high-energy workouts choreographed to rhythmic Latin-inspired beats, this luxury break is ideal if you’re looking to tone up, lose weight and feel great!
For 6 night/7 days, you'll be based in one of four luxury converted farmhouses or cottages in the Roussillon region of France, famous for its 300 days of sunshine, warm waters and picturesque mountain peaks. The retreat also boasts 2 acres of private land and 3 swimming pools so you’ll be spoilt for choice for relaxing.
Each day offers a packed itinerary, combining bursts of Zumba exercise with outdoor pursuits such as biking, trail walking, stretching, toning and conditioning. Perfect for not only exercise but experiencing the beauty of the surroundings in France's Southern-most and sunniest coastlines.
Enjoy a bit of pre-breakfast light exercise and health check, and then Zumba classes will focus on movements that strengthen the abs, legs, bottom and arms, following a set routine proven to improve your wellbeing. All exercises are taught in groups and expertly guided by trained professionals who follow the Zumba philosophy of achieving real results while having fun.
In your free time, you can choose to simply relax in the gardens to recharge for the next days adventures, or to sample more of what the Roussillon region has to offer. The beauty of this Zumba bootcamp holiday is that you set your own fitness targets, so if you want to enjoy a glass of wine at any point you're free to do so. Suitability
- Zumba boot camps are suitable for all levels of fitness and you do not have to have any experience in Zumba to join the course
- You will be given a program suited to your level of fitness
- If you do not wish to take part in a particular activity then you will be free to relax in the garden, enjoy one of three swimming pools (open May-Oct) or explore the area
- Minimum age 18 for the holiday
Travelling Solo?
- This luxury Zumba boot camp holiday makes a great singles holiday as it is the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded people and there are NO single supplements for a private single room with private bathroom
- Please note that this course runs for a minimum of 2 people and solo travellers are welcome to join existing groups

Zumba Bootcamp Retreat Itinerary
The itinerary is for guidance only and is subject to change depending on the group’s needs and wishes but is typically as follows:
Day 1- Arrival day, walk and welcome dinner
- Arrive any time from 1pm to your accommodation, and take time to settle into this beautiful setting before lunch where you will meet your hosts and fellow guests
- After a brief introduction, you’ll enjoy a brisk walk in the village at 3pm
- Today you will also have an initial fitness and diet review with Annette to assess your targets and weight before the boot camp
- Relax this afternoon, before a delicious aperitif and dinner at the farmhouse at 7pm
Day 2 – Walks, Zumba class and mountain walk
- Start the morning with a leisurely walk to the village to explore the local boulangerie for breakfast
- The first class this morning will be a Power Walk at Argeles-Plage, where you’ll tone up while marvelling at the gorgeous scenery
- After a break and lunch, it’s time for your first Zumba class and toning session to really awaken your senses
- At 3pm, relax before a mountain walk with stunning views
- This afternoon and evening, enjoy a well-deserved BBQ at the farmhouse with your fellow guests and friendly hosts
Day 3 – Mountain walk, Zumba, Step & Tone class, Fitness Ball
- Enjoy a mountain walk this morning before a delicious breakfast to set you up for the day
- Stretch and limber up for an energetic Zumba class at 10am, set to lively music
- Relax for 30 minutes before a 1 hour power walk around the stunning area and soak up the sun
- After lunch at the farmhouse, you’ll have a 1 hour Step & Tone fitness class to work those muscles and leave you feeling fit and fresh!
- After an hours break in the afternoon, there will be a Fitness Ball session where you’ll learn the best exercises to tone up using the exercise ball
- Take time to relax and unwind in one of the three swimming pools this afternoon, before an inviting aperitif and dinner with the group in the evening
Day 4 – Bike ride, Aerobic Tone, Aqua Aerobics
- Walk to the local boulangerie for breakfast at 7:30am to set you up for the day ahead
- At 9am, it’s time for a fun 2 hour cycle ride to the beautiful region of Laroque with its green pastures and quaint scenery
- Relax back at the farmhouse before a nutritious lunch at 12:30pm
- This afternoon’s class will be Aerobic Tone, where host and instructor Annette will get your pulse racing in this fun 1 hour class
- After a short break, the next class will be Aqua Aerobics at 15:30pm (subject to the weather) which is designed to gently tone up the areas of your body you wish to work on, using the water to enhance the workout’s results
- This afternoon is free for you to explore the 2 acres of private land at the retreat, relax by the pool or take a deserved power nap
- An aperitif will be served at the farmhouse at 7pm, before you head out to dinner at a location village restaurant Pierranne this evening to sample some local delicacies
Day 5 – Zumba class, market walk, visit to Collioure
- Start the morning with a brisk walk to the village boulangerie for breakfast
- Return to the farmhouse for an energetic Zumba class at 9am, and dance your cares away with high energy Latin dance to get your energy levels soaring!
- Take a breather after your Zumba class before walking to the local village to explore the weekly market and local delights
- After lunch at the farmhouse, you’ll visit the beautiful town of Collioure, with its strong Catalan influences, art museums, lovely harbour and small shops
- Walk around Collioure on this relaxing afternoon activity before returning back to the farmhouse at 5:30pm for a rest before dinner and drinks with great company
Day 6 – Zumba, Ball & Weights class, Step & Tone class
- After a morning walk to collect breakfast at the village boulangerie, head back to the retreat for a gentle stretch
- At 10am, it’s time for your final Zumba lesson where you’ll burn off calories dancing to great music and having fun while you exercise
- Take a breather in your room before a 1 hour Ball & Weights class at 11:30am to strengthen and tone your muscles
- Relax over lunch at the farmhouse and enjoy a gentle swim to soak up the sun if you wish
- This afternoon’s class will be Step & Tone, designed to up your cardio while toning muscles at the same time, leaving you feeling fitter, lighter and energised
- After a lazy afternoon, you’ll head to a local restaurant for a farewell group dinner, rewarding yourself after an intensive week full of exercise and fun!
Day 7 – Exercise class before departure
- Today is departure day and you’ll start the morning with a final walk to the boulangerie and breakfast
- After returning back to the retreat, there will be one final 1 hour exercise class which might be the group’s favourite from the week
- You will have a final weigh in before lunch to see what results have been achieved from the week
- Lunch will be served at the retreat at 12pm, before it’s time to check out of your room and head to the airport
- Depending on the time of your flight you may want to enjoy a final swim, walk to the beach or just relax at the retreat
- Check out returning feeling energised, fitter, and refreshed with new skills and happy memories along with new friends and inspiration to continue your health and fitness practice at home with a spring in your step!
Your Tutors And Hosts
- Your hosts for the week will be a team lead by Annette
- Annette is a qualified Zumba instructor and a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals, will also be your principal Zumba teacher
- Annette is enthusiastic about fitness and she loves to mix new tricks and ideas into her inspirational classes
- She uses a variety of music and will make sure you are bursting with energy for your classes, and have a lot of fun at the same time
- Richard is a qualified triathlon and British cycling coach and was previously an RAF physical training instructor
- He has a wealth of experience in different disciplines and techniques from his previous experiences and also his present ones as a regular triathlon competitor
- Richard will take the lead on a number of additional physical pursuits, including biking, trail walking, stretching and conditioning to ensure you have a rewarding and balanced training program
- Your chef for the week will be the lovely Ali, who is a professionally trained chef with experience coking on private yacht and luxury villas worldwide
- She’s also cooked for triathletes and yacht race crews with specific nutritional needs, so she has created the perfect menu for your week
- Ali creates nutritious, perfectly balanced tasty meals to spoil you whilst ensuring you receive the nutrients you need and she is happy to even tailor your meals to your own personal tastes!
What Will I Learn?
- This holiday will aim to teach you how to improve your core fitness through fun and varied Zumba classes and outdoor pursuits
- There is the opportunity to do Zumba every day during your stay
- You will look at your lifestyle and focus on the areas of your body that you most want to improve
- The exercise sessions are a mixture of challenging classes as well as gentle, low impact
- Workouts take place at a number of different location which allows you to see the beauty of the south of France
- You will develop stronger abs, as Zumba movements are powered mainly by your torso (abs and back)
- Learn to strengthen arms, legs and bums through carefully executed Zumba routines
- Combine Zumba with outdoor pursuits such as mountain biking, trail walking and conditioning
- These exercise classes are aimed to work all parts of the body and improve your cardio
Before And Aftercare Programme
- Upon arrival, you will have any initial fitness and diet review with Annette to ascertain your goals and the areas of your body you’d like to work on
- You will also be weighed at the start and end of your holiday so that you can see the results you’ve really achieved through a healthy balance of diet and exercise
- The retreat will offer you continued post-retreat support and mentoring once you have returned home with top tips on how to maintain your healthy lifestyle and answer any questions you might have
The Accommodation
- Stay on the luxury Roussillon estate with 2 stunning farmhouses and 2 adjacent cottages next door
- The buildings boast their own kitchens, private gardens and sun terraces
- The rooms have been decorated in a traditional but boutique style, with exposed oak beams and are beautifully finished to a high standard
- There are a total of 15 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms which are as follow:
- Farmhouse 1 – 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms
- Farmhouse 2 – 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms
- Stone cottage 1 – 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms
- Stone cottage 2 – 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms
- The retreat also boasts 3 different outdoor swimming pools (open May-October yearly)
- The estate has various outdoor terraces and gardens, perfect for relaxing in the sun
- It also has over 2 acres of private land to explore in the afternoons with lovely views of the Pyrenees mountains
- Just 15 minutes from the beach, the farmhouse estate is the perfect place to relax and unwind
- There are no single supplements for solo travellers and you will stay in a private single room with private bathroom

- Check in any time after 1pm on day 1 and check out by 1pm on day 7
Meals
- This is an all-inclusive holiday, so all breakfasts, lunches and dinners are included during your stay
- All of your meals will be lovingly created by health conscious chef Ali
- Ali loves to create perfectly balanced, tasty and varied menus, having sourced the ingredients daily from the best local markets
- She will be happy to tailor the menu to suit any preferences you might have and any dietary requirements where possible
- Two evening meals will be taken in local restaurants with the group, to give you a feel of the local French cuisine
- Please note: any dietary requirements must be communicated at the time of booking
Free Time In The Area
- In your free time you can enjoy the facilities at the estate; including 3 different outdoor swimming pools (open May-Oct) and over 2 acres of private land to explore
- There are also open-air terraces to relax by and a range of interior lounges with Wi-Fi facilities
- You may like to take a walk to the nearby village
- The sparking Mediterranean is only 15 minutes away
- The retreat schedules mountain hikes and power walks but if you’d like to further explore the area by foot, your hosts will be happy to recommend routes
