Mussel Harvesting Cookery Holiday

Christian and Christiana were excellent hosts. They were warm, welcoming and extremely interesting. The room was lovely -- beautiful furniture and a lovely view (we woke up to a fresh country breeze wafting into our room.) Our trip to harvest mussels (and oysters!) was so much fun. The demonstrations were excellent -- informative and fun. They know so much about cooking, food, and history and have a lot of stories to tell. The picnic lunch was just "wow!"...Christian really knows how to do a picnic. And Christiana bought a special cheese, local to the area, for dinner. That made us so happy. They were extremely nice as well -- Christiana even lent me her raincoat when the forecast threatened rain!
